The Japanese have a custom called forest bathing, what a great description (“Shinrin-yoku”). Their idea is simple: go for a walk in the woods and improve your overall wellbeing.

Walking in amongst trees has positive effects on health. It will also help reduce cortisol levels to normal levels within your body as well as lower blood pressure.

Simply being in amongst the colour green is beneficial and acts by relaxing the brain and body by soothing and reducing anxiety. ​
