Emotional Wellbeing

Your emotional wellbeing is incredibly important to enable you to attain your physical goals. You are a total person with a mind, body and spirit. These all work together in harmony beautifully from birth and throughout your life, in theory, until some of life’s experiences can cause problems to occur impacting you in many ways including stress and poor health.

Your mind is incredibly powerful and the saying mind over matter certainly can apply and help you take back control of any areas of yourself that need help. By simply taking the time to relax, de stress and rebalance will improve your emotional wellbeing. The mind is considered to be in two parts: our conscious and subconscious mind. The subconscious mind controls most of our bodily functions without us ever needing to give them much thought; which is just as well as we are busy enough as it is without having to concentrate on breathing and keeping our heart beating too! The body is indeed an amazing thing. However, without realising it, over time our emotions can also impact our conscious and subconscious mind which can negatively affect our wellbeing, behaviour and how we cope with life in general. Our personal experiences and thoughts stored in our subconscious mind can trigger unhelpful responses when we are trying to achieve our goals or overcome problems that may be impacting our lives and so working with the subconscious mind using hypnotherapy and other relevant therapies can really help holistically .

About Hypnotherapy

While hypnosis may sound a little scary initially, it is important to understand that ( unlike what many people think ) there is no loss of control and you cannot be made to say or do anything you do not want to. It is important to remember that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis and it is a state of mind that you go in and out of all throughout the day. Simple hypnotic states where you are daydreaming or finding yourself lost in time whilst performing a task like driving are examples of being in a trance. Again, under your control! You are always in control. Hypnosis allows us to step back from our alert, conscious self and access our unconscious self in order to make deep and long lasting changes to our thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

By using hypnosis and the power of positive suggestion, we can help enhance relaxation, de stress and help create new behaviours that will have a great effect on any physiological or psychological symptoms that may be having a negative impact and preventing you from reaching your goals.

Using hypnosis to enhance your ability to relax and overall emotional wellbeing will not only help attain your physical goals and make you a happier balanced person but will help you sustain your achievements in the longer term. This holistic approach of training both the body and mind is great for those who have attempted diets and tough training regimes many times in the past, but have failed to stick with it or gain any results.

My hypnotherapy sessions are great for weight management working alongside my fitness plans, or even on their own to help clients achieve a happier and more positive approach to life and overcome any issues or problems that might be holding them back from achieving their personal goals.
